Who needs a school? We are the best value in career training, and we make
learning an adventure! Workshops are compact, accelerated education and
hands-on experience taught by industry professionals who primarily work
their careers, and instruct on the side. Our training is better, and we
don't cost as much as a school. We give you the instruction that you need
for your career! We are not full-time teachers. We actually do what we
claim to do, and instruct on the side to help our industries and to help
aspiring professionals start their careers. We are full-time professionals
working our careers, and we share what we know, from experience, in our
workshop events! Unlike amateurs trying to do workshop events, we are
also qualified to instruct you and to take the lead in the market.
Welcome to Tampa Workshops,
TampaWorkshops.Com, the business and training end of Tampa Shootouts.
Our workshop events focus on photography, modeling, and independent filmmaking,
but we also produce other workshop events in the entertainment and service
industries. We set the standard for workshops in Tampa Bay!
Unlike our photography shootout and networking events, which can be found
at our sister site, Tampa Shootouts, most of which are offered free of
charge, our workshops are not free. This said, they are worth it, and
we work hard to make sure that they will be one of the best investments
into your career that you can make.
Remember the saying that those who cannot do, teach? That’s not
the case, here. Our professional instructors are NOT full time instructors,
and they all have successful, full time careers. Most of our instructors
already work their careers, and are subcontracted to instruct on a limited
basis. You need to take advantage of that! We subcontract qualified, professional
instructors who have lots of industry experience, and whom have succeeded
in industries that you aspire to break into and turn into a career. Many
of our instructors work at the top of their industries, and although they
are paid to share what they know, many of them do it to give aspiring
professionals the proper instruction so that they can become professional,
ethical participants in the industry.
Most of the workshops here at Tampa Workshops are geared for the photography
industry, with an emphasis on modeling photography. The photographers
affiliated with Tampa Workshops work at the top of their fields, and have
a proven track record of working one of the toughest, and most exclusive,
photography markets, the modeling and talent photography market. Modeling
and talent photography is a professional market which most portrait, wedding,
and other types of photographers aspire to work in, but most don’t
have what it takes to book work in that market. Our photographers have,
and do, all of the time.
Our founding photographer, C. A. Passinault, has been one of the top modeling
and talent photographers in Florida since 2002, with hundreds of photography
sessions booked in modeling portfolio photography and talent headshot
photography. His headshots, sought after by many professional actors,
are almost legendary. Passinault went pro shooting models, and over the
years, has consistently been a top booking photographer in that tough
market.
Passinault is far more than just a photographer, however, with resources
and experience in a variety of related industries which make him a modeling
and talent photographer which few photographers in the world can match.
He is an experienced professional casting director, independent filmmaker,
director, writer, copywriter, marketer, business strategist, web designer,
Internet marketing specialist, SEO specialist, sales professional, designer,
DJ, event planner, stage production professional, actor, singer, ethics
activist, scam buster, and a modeling and talent expert. Passinault is
also the founder and owner of some of the top web sites in the world in
their respective fields, which include Independent Modeling, Tampa Bay
Modeling, Tampa Bay Film, and Frontier Pop. He is a pioneer in the independent
talent movement, and has been one of the top independent photographers
in Florida for many years.
Passinault has professional experience in other industries, too, including
banking, business, security, counter terrorism, sales, retail, loss prevention,
computer science, electronics, video games, and technology industries.
Passinault is just one of many of the subcontracted professionals involved
in our Tampa Workshops, though, and we seek out some of the top professionals
in each industry.
Our flagship workshop series is the Focus
Modeling Photography Workshops, which are directly
related, and tie into, the Athena Modeling Photography and Networking
Event Series over at Tampa Shootouts. The Athena Shootouts are used as
working auditions to evaluate professional models, photographers, make-up
artists, stylists, and others in consideration of being subcontracted
into paying jobs in our Focus workshop events.
